How Long Does Production Access Review Take?
Most reviews finish in a few business days, but some take longer. Here is what to do while you wait, and what not to do.
After you submit, the production access review typically takes a few business days. There is no way to escalate it, so the productive use of that time is to prepare a second path: identify the builds and reports you will need if Google asks for clarification.
Do not delete the closed test track, do not remove testers, and do not replace the app with a new build that has not been through the same testing window. Google can inspect the historical state of the track, and a track that changed between submission and review weakens the application.
Do not resubmit just because the button is available. A second submission before the shortfall is fixed is a second delay. Wait for the review outcome, correct the specific problem, and then resubmit with stronger evidence.
If the review takes longer than expected, use the time to prepare specific answers to the questionnaire. The questions are known in advance: how you recruited testers, what devices they used, what feedback they gave, and what changed in the app. Specific answers are stronger than generic ones.
